Whole30 Day 16

I cannot believe I am over the halfway point!!! Today went really well but I have to say it was harder to plan the meals since I had to eat out and it was so close to yoga class.  For those of you who do not take yoga, it is recommended not to eat up to three hours before class and if you have to eat to eat something easy to digest.  I'm so glad I ate a light Meal #3 because I had no issues in the yoga class and it was HARD so if I would have eaten too much, I don't think my tummy would have enjoyed it.  

I have some exciting news to share (at least it is exciting to me haha) but am going to write a separate blog on it and should post it this weekend so keep your eyes out! (and no I am not pregnant! lol)

Exercise

I was oh so very sore still from my leg circuit workout on Sunday.  I went to the gym in the morning and did an easy 30 minutes on the treadmill (speed 3.4, incline 5.0 the entire time).  I just stretched some after that.




Then I went to a 90 minute hatha yoga class at 7:30pm.  It was wonderful!!! I got an extra pass to our Rec Center so now I can go to 3 more yoga classes a week!!! I am so excited!!!

Food
Meal #1
Eggs (4) with mushrooms and green papers and garlic.
Grapefruit with a little cinnamon on top.

Meal #2
Wait for it ... surprise! Tuna and avocado salad :)
Sweet potato and carrots.
Snack #1
I had planned to eat a lighter Meal #3 today 
because it being so close to yoga, 
so I had a snack earlier than I normally would.  
I had a cutie and a handful of pistachios. 

Meal #3
I had a meeting and had to eat out
but it was also only an hour and a half before
a yoga class I wanted to go to so I needed to eat light.
I had a side salad with pecans, strawberries and EVOO/Balsamic
and a shrimp cocktail (minus the cocktail sauce).

Snack #2
When I got home from 90 min of yoga, 
I was hungry but it was already 9:30 pm 
so I ate a snack and just had an apple 
with some almond butter on top.  
PS the almond butter I purchased has two ingredients - 
almonds and salt, so it is Whole30 friendly :)


Don't know where this is from but I <3 it!
