Whole30 Day 15

Whole30 Day 15

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm HALFWAY!!! YAY!!!!

Today was a great and busy day!  I got back to working out in the morning - more about that below.  Good productive day at work, got to have lunch again with Lisa.  Got home in time to make some burgers.  Got to watch a little DVR with Lee before full March Madness sets in and I lose him for a few weeks haha

I still cannot believe it's day 15!  In some ways, it feels like the longest 15 days in my life but in other ways it feels like it has flown by.  I cannot wait for the next 15 :)

Exercise

Today was my first day of trying to get back on track with morning workouts.  I like working out in the morning because then I cannot put it off later in the day.  I haven't worked out in the morning for probably almost six weeks so it was time to get back at it! I got up at 5:30 am and was at the gym by 6 am.  I did a 15 min warm up on the elliptical and then did a circuit with machines for upper body.  My legs were KILLING me from yesterdays workout (I can hardly stand up and sit down) so I went easy on them today :)

Food

Meal #1
Eggs (3) with mushrooms, green peppers and garlic.
The mushrooms and green peppers I cooked ahead on Sunday!
Sweet potato with ghee and cinnamon.
The sweet potato was also cooked ahead - wash sweet potatoes,
put in a crock pt (don't dry them), cook on low 4-6 hours depending on size!
Cutie :)
Meal #2
Tuna, avocado, greens, and EVOO/Balsamic (surprise!) haha
Are you tired of my tuna salads yet?? Because I am not!
Veggies cooked on Sunday - Broccoli, pea pods, and carrots.
Cooked them in EVOO and coconut aminos.
No soy during Whole30, so coconut aminos are a good soy sauce replacement!
Snack
I had a handful of sunflower seeds and a handful of grapes because I ate lunch at 12:30 pm and wouldn't be able to eat dinner, because of a meeting, until almost 7:30 pm.

Meal #3
Spinach salad, pecans, EVOO/Balsamic.
Asparagus.
Bison burgers, mushrooms, avocado.
Meal #3
Close up of the burgers!

Here is the brand I bought...pricey but worth it!
